“Einstein was one of the greatest minds to ever tackle our understanding of the forces of the universe. He had an amazing ability to focus his intellectual and creative genius. By showing us how energy and matter are inextricably connected (E=mc²), he opened up whole new worlds of knowledge about light and about relationships between time and space. Although he started with pre-conceived ideas about how things worked, Einstein was willing to open his mind, even if his discoveries led him to uncomfortable possibilities.

“I try to do the same thing with my work. I always start out with a concept, but, as the design takes shape in my hands, I am often led in a totally different direction.
