The harsh days of winter have passed and now the river babbles with icy snowmelt. A new mother Grizzly has restless cubs in her den, cooped up throughout the long months. She ventures out for a quiet walk along the bank, keeping a keen eye on the flow. Unaware of the danger, rainbow trout whirl through eddies and dance past logs. Soon, however, they are spotted by the piercing eye of a famished bear who will claim them hers.
